The US Economy in a Snapshot is a quarterly publicatiŠ¾n produced by the CEIC Macroeconomic Research Team. The report is designed to provide a comprehensive, albeit concise overview of the current economic and financial developments. In Q2 2022, real GDP contracted for a second successive quarter at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 0.9% following a decline of 1.6% in Q1 2022, according to the advance estimate released by the US Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA).
