Poland Economy in a Snapshot Q2 2022 Report

What does this quarterly economic report offer? 

 

Poland Economy in a Snapshot is a quarterly publicatiоn produced by the CEIC Macroeconomic Research Team. The report is designed to provide a comprehensive, albeit concise overview of the current economic and financial developments. The Poland Economy in a Snapshot report is produced using data from the CEIC Global Database and CEIC World Trend Plus Database.

 

According to the preliminary, or flash estimate for Q1 2022 released by Statistics Poland, GDP increased on a real terms basis by a seasonally adjusted 2.4% q/q following a quarterly rise of 1.8% q/q in Q4 2021. This led to an unadjusted growth rate of 8.5% y/y in Q1 2022, up from 7.6% y/y in Q4 2021, with year average growth of 5.7% recorded for last year.
